She likes the vac!

I'm very happy with my new Shark vacuum!

1. Even though I thought I wanted bags, I'm loving the ease of emptying the bagless vacuum. I couldn't change the bag in my old one. It was too complicated for me, so Tom did it. Also, no more expense for bags. I usually used one+ every time I vacuumed.

2. Hose is softer and more pliable than my old one.

3. Controls are simple and clear, and not many of them. In fact, the whole design is simple.

4. Easy to change it from doing bare floors to rugs.

5. Much lighter to carry up the stairs.

6. It is noisy, but I expect it has to be to be able to pick up dirt. Suction is good.

So, a great success!

  1. If they ever make a noiseless vacuum that would be the one I would buy. ha... I don't have to worry about that for some time I think. Those canisters of dirt is easy now days. I am glad you like your new vacuum.

  2. Hooray! I was wondering what the verdict was. Now I know what I'll do when my vacuum finally poops out. (And your new header picture is DIVINE! "Just a dusting" is such a pretty kind of snow.)

  3. Yay! Isn't it great to find something that makes life easier?

We've become big fans of Amazon since moving to the coast. No big box stores anywhere near us. We have to drive to Corvalis or Salem for that sort of thing, so we wind up ordering online.

    1. We have box stores, but honestly it is so much easier to just click and not have to carry it home. Not everything fits in the car, and the truck is on its way out.

  4. Glad your new purchase is such a success! I've been using an upright bagless one for about a year now. My Mum got it through Amazon's Vine product tester program. It is practical and very easy to use and handle, but... it is also cheaply made, and some plastic bits have already fallen off, and I have attempted some repairs with super-glue (which I hate) and sticky tape (which looks naff). Maybe Santa will bring me a new one :-)

  5. I'm glad you love your new vac! We have two vacuums, one for upstairs so I don't have to haul a heavy vac up the stairs!

  7. Glad to see that you found a good vacuum and like it. We replaced our bigger one with a lighter one recently (that isn't for heavy duty cleaning like yours) and we love it. I did not suggest it earlier because we don't deal with so much dog hair and I know how much power you need to deal with that.
