  1. After seeing all of these bouquets I have a list a mile long of flowers I would like to grow next year. Will I get them planted? I don't know but I will have lots of fun thinking about it. ;)

    1. And the wonder is that they last the whole week! I may throw out a couple that have died, but most of them last. Well worth you growing them!! Don't you love those apples?!

  2. Each week's bounty surpasses the week before. I am curious about the orange bucket containers; do you get a new one each week or do you have to return them to be refilled. I rather like them a lot!

    1. The very first week the bouquet was in the bucket. The following weeks she designs the flowers to fit the bucket. They are in brown paper. I love it, too. Great color - like a flower itself.

  3. I've very much enjoyed catching up on your posts for the summer. Loved the CSA flowers, the new garden, the fence project, the books and reading posts. I've done a bit of traveling this summer, then had my right knee replaced, so I'm in recovery mode now and finally feeling like coming back to the computer. Reading your blog posts has been therapeutic--and more fun than the grueling (though necessary) therapeutic exercises.

  4. Love the apples! I want a twig of dogrose bush with rosehips for the white vase in my bedroom, like I had one years ago.

    1. I have some in the yard. I could pop over with a twig for you!

  5. Love those apples! The burst of color in the blooms are also great. So cheerful! Very nice that they all (mostly) last a week. Will you get flowers in the fall?

    1. That's been the fun thing about the bouquets - the basil, rosemary, and apples tucked in amongst the flowers!

  7. This must be the fullest bouquet to date! Are those crabapples? They are wonderful in the bouquet, and looks like sage?

    1. Yes, they are! I don't think there is sage. Those leaves that might look like it go with the fuzzy red flowers.

    2. Thanks for getting back about the leaves and the crabapples. What a great addition to a bouquet.
Hope you are having a good day.

    3. Good day, indeed. We just got a new car! It was a demo with 4000 miles on it, but a 2016 VW Golf sportwagen.

  8. Beautiful -- love the sunflowers this time of year. And the deep red one which I should know the name of but don't (have forgotten).

    1. The left red is a zinnia I think. But I don't know what the fuzzy one is.

  9. The fuzzy one reminds me of a flower called coxcomb, that might not be right, but we had that in our garden when I was little and that is what my mother called it.

  10. Love these sorts of frowsy bouquets, Nan. :) Gorgeous.

    1. This CSA is only flowers. There are some more posts and pictures about it. A wonderful young woman grows the flowers, along with her dad.
