  1. She is so lovely--worth all the struggle many time over, I am sure, for your family.

    1. Oh, yes. And every minute I am thankful. She's a wonderful little girl. Took her first step the other day, babbles happily, and crawls like mad!

  2. Oh, my goodness, today's picture of Hazel Nina took my breath away! Not that we'd want to keep her this age, but could anything be more perfect?

  8. She is a beautiful child! And I swear she was smiling back there a year ago, even while she was still struggling a bit. She knew she was loved! (I know "they" say she was too young to do so, but I'm a great-grandma and I know better!).

  11. She's a sweetheart :) Lovely photos, and I like in the second photo the contrasting patterns of elephants and dogs.

I don't know if I ever recommended the following blog to you - it's by a law professor (now retired), and she travels a lot and has many beautiful posts on that (see the labels list on the right side of the blog) - but she also blogs daily from her farmette in Wisconsin. And she became a grandmother a couple of days ago. http://ninacamic.blogspot.com You might enjoy her blogging.
