Gary Stevens on Oxbow! He came out of a seven year retirement and won at 50 years old! Oxbow took the lead right out of the gate, and never relinquished it.
Me, too. I've watched him on tv as an analyst on the Triple Crown races, and it was quite thrilling to learn he had come out of retirement, and then to win! He was on an HBO series, but I didn't want to watch it.

He hinted that this was his strategy when they interviewed him before the race. I am glad the old man won.
