What a marvelous quotation, and so much truth. I'd only add that one of the greatest challenges in life is to protect our sense of what is right for us against all the well-meaning suggestions of those certain they have a better idea!
Also I just scrolled back to read your replies (which is such a lovely thing you do) on some previous posts and saw in a comment about the "Reader's Bill of Rights" .... I missed that when you posted it earlier ... how wonderful it is. And re one of your answers...yes those pre-school meetings Bill used to have sure did have a way of ruining a good August!
