Oh, I see that you are still on an Irish roll! The book you just received from the library looks so interesting! Unfortunately, it is not in any of our libraries. I could ILLO it but have to get through my pile first. I have read the books by Patrick Taylor as well as Alice Taylor this winter and have enjoyed both. I had a feeling you would enjoy this terrific quote! It gives a good sense of the Provincial Lady's humor. If you haven't read Diary of a Provincial Lady, you might enjoy it. It is one of my top favorite books.
