What a handsome animal. I think donkeys have such sweet faces. I have always wanted to draw one but haven't found a model that has caught my eye. I am not very good at drawing from memory so I usually use a photo as model.
I just love this donkey. This reminded me of two donkeys I met once at a very difficult few weeks in my life, as I was walking past a field. I never forgot them. They were so gentle and wise and interested in the food I offered them, and I felt better immediately. Thank you for the sweet reminder.
