  1. I have to confess, I do like to see the snow when there's a blue sky. Yes, you had a beautiful day. I'm sure I'll get mine, too. ;)

  3. Mrs Bale was obviously looking outside through a window. It was cold with the wind blowing but I agree that it was beautiful to look at. Your lovely flocked trees and all your snow is beautiful. You huge icicles make my little icicles barely worth mentioning. ha... Good to see the doggies are out and about enjoying the day. Luna was out quite a bit today too.

  5. Thanks everyone! And Lisa, the only one taken through a window was of the dogs! It really wasn't that cold today; in the twenties and that sun made it feel warmer. We didn't have any wind at all. I just had a sweater on walking around taking the pics.

  6. Lisa, I should have said that the third picture was also taken out the window. The one of the dogs was through the kitchen door window, and that third one was through an open window looking into the north pasture.

  7. What lovely weather! Everywhere looks so clean and crisp. Ben and Sadie must have loved it!
The red branches of the tree, are they red because the sap has started to rise?

  8. K, the red branches are on the tree rose, and that's just their color. If you go here:

and scroll down to tree rose, you can see the branch in summer.

I imagine you inside cooking, listening to some great music and
gathering up a pile of books by the fireplace with that wood! Guess
what? My daffodils have closed blossoms on them. Really!

  11. Bonnie, very funny! I'll be seeing those yellow joys in May. :<)
Les, we don't have nearly as much snow as some other parts of the state or my friend in the next state who is 700 feet higher than us.
