  1. Whew! December was such a busy month and I have really missed visiting with you so much! Then I return to this wonderful photo of your two cute dogs in the kitchen by the woodstove. Now what could be a more peacefilled Christmas scene than this! I hope you had a great Christmas and that your coming to the end of the year gives you time to reflect but also to be inspired. May 2008 bring you harmony and joy!

  4. I am feeling this way today. I had to work the day after christmas. Today will be my day of rest. :)

I just love the photo of the icicles.

  5. So nice to hear from you Heidi. I haven't been over to Holland as often as I wished either! The dogs were truly exhausted. Both their "kids" were here the whole day and it was so thrilling to them (and us!). Thank you for your nice, nice words.

Thanks, Les. I couldn't resist the dogs. And I am such an icicle fan. I expect there will be variations of winter on the header for many, many months ahead.:<)

Layanee and Lisa, they were just so cute that I had to take the picture. And I think we all feel like this. The librarian whispered to me yesterday that she was glad Christmas was over. I think even if our times are quiet and peaceful and joyful, there is a sense of busyness all around that permeates us. Thanks, Lisa, I do like icicles!
