Quitting a book

I'm giving up my scheme I presented a while ago. I'm going to save it for a time when I don't have so many other books going, and book challenges that I want to complete. I haven't kept up with the 5 pages a day at all. This is a book I need to read when I don't have anything else on the book table. Someday...

  1. I have this book too. Have not read it yet. Did you give up because it did not hold your interest or because you could not get into by only reading a few pages a day? Do you think you will really go back to it someday???

  2. I gave it up because I have so many other books I'm reading now. :<) It definitely did hold my interest. I was really enjoying it, and I do plan to go back to it.

  3. I am going to have to blog about this book and my reading experience. Do not start this book unless you can spend a week of sleepless nights getting stuck in. It is so huge it cannot be carried around and so has to be read at home. I spent ten days totally absorbed in it and emerged blinking inot the sunlight when it was finished whimpering Where am I? it is wonderful. Elaine

  4. Elaine, that's really how I felt. I want to read it when there is no other book waiting for me. I find the characters and the story and the whole idea just fascinating. At some other time, it will get my full attention.
