The Virginia Woolf shelf

  1. Love your shelves Nan! I have never read anything from Virigina Woolf. I really loved the shelf above it with all those vintage teacups and saucers!

  2. Thank you, Heidi! There are actually three more shelves of cups and saucers in that same bookcase. They came from my grandmother, mother, aunt, and a friend's mother. I just love them. Each one is so different, so delicately beautiful.

  3. Nan, You must really love Virginia Woolf. I haven't read much of her, just a little bit (can't remember which book) quite a few years ago. What would you recommend for a "beginner?"

  4. Gee, Aisling, you might enjoy reading some of her diaries first just to get a feel of who she is. For a novel, maybe Mrs Dalloway. It is the story of a day, with the thoughts all of us have during that time. One thought leads to another to another. It is my favorite.
