I wasn't sure where I first heard about the Gemma James/Duncan Kincaid series until I was going back through some posts on your blog (yes, your readers do that). I love them, and have read all that our library has now. I even bought a couple, and I rarely buy books! Thank you for introducing me to the series.

I get all my best reading ideas right here.clairzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12076402619649343527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-89012590244493904732011-05-24T14:07:46.100-04:002011-05-24T14:07:46.100-04:00Kay, yes. :<) I'm surprised you aren't...Kay, yes. :<) I'm surprised you aren't watching it. Seems right up your alley. It is very good. Very atmospheric. Good acting.

Kay, I'll have to try and find this. I really liked her in Ab Fab. :<) Haven't seen Lark Rise yet. And perfectly true.

Staci, I hope you get a chance to begin to see if the series is for you.

Yoshi, Gemma does have some trouble sometimes, as does her partner. After a while, and if the author portrays them really well and in a convincing manner, they become as familiar as our real-life friends (or at least acquaintances). And if you pick up a series after a longish break, it is like returning to an old familiar place, greeting people you have known for a while.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-37731826376378397272011-05-23T13:53:04.660-04:002011-05-23T13:53:04.660-04:00The issue of trying to be a wife and mother at the...The issue of trying to be a wife and mother at the same time the character is devoted to a demanding career is one reason I'm enjoying the series "The Good Wife" on TV.
