The basil gets remov...Such a beautiful description! The basil gets removed first, and used! And then as the week goes on I'll pull a flower as it goes by. Sometimes the bouquet makes it all the way till the next Wednesday, sometimes only a few fade and I move the bouquet to a smaller vase, and sometimes I do make a couple smaller arrangements. I change the water each morning and spend time just looking at each individual flower.
