Thinking I was lost then coming to a familiar landmark. I have a friend who spent every summer of her childhood on her uncle's ranch in Colorado. Her mother, a widowed teacher, and Donna would take off on the last day of school and drive from Chicago to the ranch, in the fifties, where Donna would have the most wonderful time being a child. She tells of being able to ride an older horse to her heart's content. She would lead it out and get on by climbing up on a big rock. I need to show her this. Much thanks.lifeonthecutoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14657395265006688388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-32067457769626423682012-02-24T14:25:20.822-05:002012-02-24T14:25:20.822-05:00I love horses, and thought this was perfect.I love horses, and thought this was perfect.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-66516050833359174492012-02-24T13:14:19.022-05:002012-02-24T13:14:19.022-05:00Lovely.Lovely.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04179027379034179865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-8930977768457945612012-02-24T10:13:34.778-05:002012-02-24T10:13:34.778-05:00It is a beautiful, beautiful horse, and I love thi...It is a beautiful, beautiful horse, and I love this poem.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-7870032685456724442012-02-24T10:13:03.959-05:002012-02-24T10:13:03.959-05:00It does.
