If my computer wasn't in the study, and the tv wasn't in the living room, I'd probably never leave the kitchen. :<) The chairs in front of the woodstove just happened last year, and I don't know why we didn't do it years and years ago. But that's how it goes with a house, isn't it? Sometimes you'll make a little change; in our case selling the old wood cookstove that came with the house, but which we never used because it took so much wood and didn't warm the house very well, and once it was gone, the kitchen table could go there, and the space opened up for chairs. We just thought we had to keep that stove because it was old and so lovely and went with the house but what a relief once it was gone.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-18080223524557290442007-01-11T13:05:00.000-05:002007-01-11T13:05:00.000-05:00Yes, and there is a story. We tried a towel underneath but had to change it a few times a day. We tried a plastic mat from the pet store, but it just filled up with water. And as you see the floors are wood, so they were being hurt by all that water. Tom very recently had this brilliant idea to use our old crock and it has worked beautifully. You'll see I still keep a towel under it but that's just for the little drips. It has made a huge difference.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6049626897935912366.post-52066063622893096902007-01-11T12:48:00.000-05:002007-01-11T12:48:00.000-05:00They look very content.
