A photographic New Year's Eve toast to Miss Hazel Nina!

Your comments on the arrival of Miss Hazel Nina (see here if you missed it) were so very kind that I wanted to thank you in a special post. The dear baby has been steadily gaining, and now weighs 2 pounds, 15 ounces - only an ounce away from 3 pounds! Addendum - On January 1 she weighed a smidgen over 3 pounds! And so, without further ado, a toast to our bright star, Hazel Nina.

  16. I missed the birth announcement, Nan - congratulations! I weighed the same as Hazel when I was born 12 weeks early...you'd never know it now! Hazel has such a spirit in her eyes already - what a lovely little girl she is. I hope she gets to join you all back at the Farm very, very soon. Sending lots of love your way!

  17. That is one tiny baby! They always look so fragile, but they are tougher than you would think, and once they start outting on weight they catch up incredibly quickly. Happy New Year and Best Wishes to you all.
