  4. That's a lovely shrub rose Nan - It's that time of year isn't it? I have the rose Gertrude Jekyll in my garden and cut one bloom yesterday as it was laying down at the back of the bush and could not be seen and enjoyed there, so here it is now, inside in all it's glory! Enjoy yours Nan, I think perhaps it's not a repeat flowerer?

    1. It is great, and the only rose besides rosa rugosa which will grow on this cool, windy hill. They do bloom just in June.
