Today's song/Our House - Madness

What the Queen will hear tonight!

  1. I haven't heard this song since I was in college (I think...if I remember correctly ;) So fun to watch this video of it. Do you think the Queen will rock on?

At first, I was thinking of CSNY's song by the same name found here. I love that we're the same generation, Nan. Such a comfort when surrounded by a rapping son.

    1. I dearly love that song, too. "two cats in the yard, life used to be so hard." such a happy picture of domestic life.
I don't hate rap - just the angry, violent kind. Mostly I think it is catchy and fun. :<)

  3. I haven't heard this song in, well, a in very long time. How fun, Nan, and your header is stunning in the color and the strands of web reaching across.

The Queen is holding up very well, I think. I'd be a wilted mess having stood for that long.

    1. It is SUCH a fun song, and so very English.
Tom really likes the web strands too. One of those lucky shots.
Ah, that woman is a marvel. A real role model in so many ways.
