Letters from a Hill Farm
winter ... exits March the second on the dot
I hate to disagree with the lovely Mrs. B, but winter has decided to extend his stay this year, and sadly it appears he won't be moving on for a while yet.
Donna, same here, as you can see in the picture. Where is my fence anyway? :<)
Today I can really sympathize with you. I hate to tell you really. It is sunny and warm here. Winter is supposed to return tomorrow but for today Let Mrs Bale sing.
Lisa, we had big snow squalls today, lots of wind, and then bright sun at sunset (that's the blog header I just put up). I'm not complaining. It has been a real winter. Cold and snowy with plenty of sunshine. How I love your last line. She really looks like she is singing, doesn't she? ;<)
Your winter pictures have been wonderful! This last one, in the sun, is especially glorious.I love Mrs. Bale!
Thank you, Jill! The picture at the bottom of this post, and the blog header were taken just a few hours apart. The sun at the end of the day was so, so beautiful. Hard to capture though. I deleted lots of shots.:<)
sadly winter is still well entrenched here as well, and I am still fed up of it...although your header picture is beautiful.
Niki, I'm not out much so my pics are all around the house. :<) The sun is glorious today though 15 degrees.
Oh YIKES! That is a lot of snow. It's 20 degrees in Illinois right now so ... nope, Winter hasn't left there yet either.
Kay, just about the same here today - 15 and bright, bright sun.
"Merlin told me once never to worry about it if you don't know what a woman is thinking. They don't do it that often."Mrs. Bale being the obvious exception!
I'm not so sure about that weather forecast!
I am far behind on reading my favs, but you know I couldn't let my dear Mrs Bale go without making a comment on her singing ;>)(She would be sooo bored this time of year in our part of Florida, with little to report.)
Sallie, I did see wind in Florida during the Red Sox game on tv. :<)
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
