  1. Beautiful pictures. Everyone laughs at me when I mention fairy lights here in Texas - apparently they have a whole different meaning.

  5. Hi Nan: Thanks for posting these beautiful photographs. They certainly have helped to brighten up a very rainy day.

  6. Ann, I learned the term from British books and television. :<)

    Jill, aren't they just amazing!

Staci, I just stand and stare at them.

Sherri, that one is very special. If you click to enlarge it, you'll see what could almost be called veins. And I've never seen such a color - it is yellow and pink at the same time. Is this what is called apricot?

Kay, the colors are so beautiful this time of year.

    Carolyn, I so love them.

Donna, we could actually use some rain. It's still hot and sunny but in 80s not 90s!

  8. Gorgeous flowers! A celebratory opening day for sure.

My computer is kinda' slow today and I have to tell you that your header photo had me drooling by the time the site loaded. Those raspberries look --- well -- good enough to eat! Just a perfect photo.

Thanks so much to each of you for your praise of the raspberries. They are all eaten now! But more will be coming daily. What bounty.

  13. Nan dear,

They're delicious looking, but then, so is that header. It made my mouth water.
