Letters from a Hill Farm
Grooooooan! How absolutely depressing! Not unusual, I'm sure, for April. It's very cool and drizzly here in Nova Scotia and I'm petrified we'll get more snow...I don't think I could bear it! :)
Ahrrg! We had the same thing yesterday, and we've got everything blooming! So unpleasant!
I would be aghast too. As it is we have to cover up our tomatoes for frost tonight but that is still better than snow.
I can see why Mrs Bale is aghast. What a disappointment to get snow at the end of April. Yooo Hooo Spring come back here.
Oh, dear! I would be aghast, too! But it is still possible for us to see snow here. Shocking, but possible.
Nothing surprises me anymore. Especially snow at the end of April. We were cold yesterday- 59 degrees and windy. That is a very rare occurance in GA at this time of year. Welcomed, but rare. The chickens loved it though!
Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now! Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
