At this moment

I realized I haven't done an "at this moment" for a while so here goes, at 7:30 pm on a Thursday evening.

What I saw: sunset. I was sitting on the porch, and it actually wasn't as dark as the picture.

What I heard: glorious robins and song sparrows.

What I smelled: spring in the air, and a hint of wood smoke because yes, indeed, we are still using the woodstove.

What I tasted: my cosmo. :<)

What I felt: a cool breeze.

  1. Ah, at last, a sitting-on-the-porch post :) Here's hoping there will be many more. When you write like this I feel I'm sitting in the middle of a forest with all the hidden wildlife around me. Much needed.

  2. Lovely.

Have you heard HEM's newest song
in the works: Things are not perfect
    in our yard?

Looks like it is in yours. Look
    above up!

  3. Lovely entry.

And I finally got to go back and find out what's in a Cosmo. As I said there, I've wanted to order one out, to try it. But haven't. Now I can study the sound of the ingredients and see if I want to try. :-)

See, I like sweet. Not dry. I have extra cherry juice put in my Manhattans. :-)
