Clotheslines

If you are beginning to think about hanging clothes out on the line, here's the place to go! This catalogue arrived today with wonderfully nostalgic, yet practical items for hanging clothes in the sunshine and wind. Here is a direct link to the website. One of the best things about the coming of spring!

  1. Hi Nan,

Thanks for posting this store. Looks like an interesting place!

I can't wait to put up our clothesline, but we have to wait for Spring allergy season to pass...

  2. It's warm enough down here to
    be hanging out clothes outside!
    Spring has arrived.

Have you read The Quotidian Mysteries: Laundry, Liturgy and Woman's Work by Kathleen Norris?

  3. Bonnie, I bought the book after you mentioned it. I was planning to read it for Lent, but you know, I just couldn't do it. There is something about her or her writing that I don't care for. I wish I could be clearer but it is just a feeling I have. I've read another one by her and felt the same way.

  4. I'd love the sight of sheets drying on a clothesline! They're banned in our community ~ hopefully that will change in the future!

I wanted to thank you for the comment you left me, Nan ... that really helped me put things in perspective!
