I just wanted to let you know I have spent this morning replying to your wonderful comments, including the High Cotton review which Tom wrote. Sorry to be so long in writing back.

  1. Ahhhhhhhh, the bitter/sweet subject of comments!

Comments are sweet and we all love to get them. Comments are also bitter, for me, because I can never read and comment in as many blogs as I want to. And as I feel I 'should.'

And since *we-great-minds* are running in the same circles, I wrote of comments, in my 'smilnsigh' today. :-)

May we all come to terms with our own desires and abilities, concerning reading in other's blogs and commenting.

  2. Oh, I hope you aren't too upset, Mari-Nanci. We all just do our best as time allows. I try to respond because it means so much to me when people take the time to leave a note. I got behind last week so I did them all at once, and wanted to let people know.

Now that I am a grandmother, it seems that I am often late in replying to your most-appreciated comments. But I read them as soon as they come in, and I will write as soon as I can. Please do come back and check. I love these blogging conversations. A little addendum - I've just spent quite a long time catching up with dear notes you left me months ago!! I do hope you can get back to read them. And I'm trying to be much more prompt now!

Also, you may comment on any post, no matter how old, and I will see it.
