Mrs Bale says brrr!

Mrs Bale put on her scarf this morning because it was 27º! First frost of the season.

  1. Oh my goodness! It is cool year... brisk and very autumn-like... but no frost so far. I'm glad; I have a lot still going on in the garden!

If you are in the mood to read more, there is a label on the sidebar that says, Mrs Bale's Weather Report. She is such a great character.

  5. It was cool here over the weekend, but warmed up again. Now we have thunderstorms, which we so desperately need! Very cozy inside with the lights on. I'm ready for fall!

  6. Oh fun! I love that it is getting colder already. I am so cheered at the prospect of autumn colors although our heather fields have never been so pretty for so long. The heather is still in bloom even though it is starting to fade now this week. I also love that I am grabbing my oversized flannel shirts again to feel all cuddly warm in. Are you starting to see some fall colors in your part of the world Nan?

  7. Well, I'm always the last to get the cool. I'll just imagine, OK? I think we hit the 90's before we had a small thunderstorm this afternoon. Just ship me some cold, OK?
